Marketing yourself

Why do some get upset when people reject their sales pitch? It is quite normal for people not seeing a value in a product or service that you think is the greatest thing since the creation of this planet. There a vast variety of reasons for the rejection. They may actually see no value it for their needs. They may not even trust your sales pitch and it truthfulness. They may just not want it so it is better to forget about the rejection instead of getting upset.

It is wise to look at it objectively and ask this simple question if I were the one receiving this proposal would I buy it. Of utmost importance when asking this question is to be completely honest with yourself. Another good idea is to ask for another marketer that you trust to give a look over to offer any suggestions or criticism of your sales copy.

One other thing that should be noted is that most people dislike being insulted or questioned on their judgment yet you will see several marketers think that this is justified since they use such tactics. People are not stupid, sheep, or other such things so try treating them as equals looking for something that is beneficial to them.

Customers are the life blood of any business so the more you treat them fairly, honestly, and as equals the more they will be willing to at least seriously contemplate the purchase of your offer. The bottom line is always the purchase of the product or services and the customers satisfaction with the transaction.

People want to be treated good and fairly in everyday life and in what they consume. Always treat each and every person as you would want to be treated. The more we can learn to communicate with each other and truly be concerned for them the better it will be for all of us.

Use your mind to find all that is good

The greatest gift that the human race has is human mind that is capable of very great and very terrible thoughts and ideas. When we look at all the accomplishments that the human mind has conceived it overwhelming and remarkable. When we see the depths of evil that the mind can conceive it is frightening and troubling.

The balance between what is good and what is not is based on truth the willingness to follow what is true or good or the decision to ignore the truth and go on paths that lead to destruction. The trouble with any untruth is that it leads to the construction of other untruths in order to support the original lie.

So the big question is how do we break this vicious cycle of untruths that have lead the way to theft, rape, murder, wars, and other things that plague the human race. The answer is simple yet very hard to implement because of all the hate and deception presently being practiced today in the entire world of ours.

The answer is that we need to start using our own minds to search out the truths that are out here and learn to reject all things that are false. Instead of allowing others to make the decisions of our lives we need to stand up and make our own decisions after we have researched what the consequences of our decisions will be. We need our educational systems to teach the truth that has been proven instead of promoting opinions that are not supported in fact.

The bottom line of this train of thought is that we must become accountable for our words and actions by seeking out what is true and good and admitting when we have erred because none of us are infallible and free from doing things we should not have. The problem is when we do not address our short comings and continue in the errors of our ways and cease from continuing in them.

Do not hate those who do wrong but rather seek out ways to aid them see their errors. Hate the evil things people do but not the people because except for some fate it could have been you. If you do not stand up to the evils of the world and say enough is enough then ask this who will.

Learn to think for yourself, learn to love all of your fellow human beings, and stop following a untruth. Enjoy all that life has to offer and seek out ways for the rest of world to be able to do the same.

Honesty is vital

There are many promises made daily that will never become true so those promises turn into lies. In todays society it appears that deceit and untruths rule the day. The big question is why these untruth are so readily accepted as the truth.

It is true that one lie usually leads to another so why is it practiced so much today. It may be to produce power, wealth, or both. Greed seems to lead to practicing deceit. The sad thing is that you can become both rich and powerful without lowering your standards to deceit and lies.

It takes a big person to admit their failures and limitations even though we all have our own faults. It is better to be honest and lose than cheat and lie to gain a victory. It truly amazes me that no one person enjoys being lied to yet many will accept a lie and even defend it once it is shown to be a lie.

Stand up to lies and accept the truth by treating every man and woman as you expect them to treat you. Lies and deception never turn into something good and lasting while the truth will never fail you.

Seek what is true and wise

It is both sad and amazing at the same time that many people would rather buy into an untruth when it is quite obvious to the casual observer. Could it be that they are more afraid of the truth which usually shines light on many deceptions and falsehoods.

Most untruths have the tendency of destroying the lives of those who choose to follow them in end but unfortunately they tend to be destructive on those who do not follow the untruths. Every single moment we are confronted with choices many we make for ourselves and others we have no control of. When we make choices we should weigh it in the scales of truth and honesty by seeking out real knowledge and wisdom.

We need to differentiate between opinions and facts. We need to find out if opinions have something of true value before we embrace them. We should always acknowledge when we were wrong in our decisions and learn from our mistakes.

Strive to make the right choices in life because those choices affect not only yourself but the lives of your fellow men and women. Seek out the knowledge to know what is true and honorable for unfortuniatly there are those who seek to betray and destroy your hopes and dreams.

Food for thought 10-15-2008

In today's world many business enterprises and even the government forget that they are providing goods and services to real live human beings. Every individual from the homeless person sleeping in a ditch to the richest person are just living breathing human beings with many of the same needs such as food, clothing , and shelter.

Blaming people who have the unfortunate turn of events that have or will have their homes foreclosed and then turned into the streets with no concern for their welfare or needs. Yet on the news channels and newspapers they are presented as the problem to the economy. Think about this for a moment who wants to be thrown out of their home to live in the street.

We as a society both in life and business spend valuable time blaming the other persons instead of using that waste of time in working to resolve the problems that presently plague this planet of ours such as hunger, disease, inequities, usury, and other crimes against humanity. No one seeks out to be destitute and homeless but they are rather a product of society that attempts to put them out of sight so they may be forgotten.

To achieve world peace the human race needs to live in harmony helping one another to survive in dignity this grand world of ours. To build a better world for everyone we must work together for the common good of all instead of just the few. One of the most important ingredients is to be honest with one another.

In the Clutches of Apathy

The world is trapped in a state of apathy and if not addressed may lead the way to end of the human race. Too many turn a blind eye to those who are dying of cancer and other diseases until it hits them and their family. Too many will not even acknowledge that many in this world live in abject poverty without shelter, proper food and drink, medical assistance, and are naked.

Some business practices are used that do not care what and how it will affect their customers and others as long as they personally profit. Businesses should be run in an honest and ethical way that benefit those who they serve.

Doing or saying nothing in the face of something you know is wrong is what apathy is all about. When people do not care the things that need to be fixed are just shoved out of sight as if they will cure themselves. The trouble with apathy is when that thing you shoved out of sight finds you others are still ignoring the problem. If you do not seek to find a cure and just ignore the consequences it can become a problem that can not be cured.

We of the human race can do great and wonderful thing when we recognize the problem and work together to find a solution. Solve problems by seeking out what is good and honest with compassion and humility. Enjoy all this world has to offer and seek ways for every man, woman and child are able to enjoy it as well. Even if all you have is a kind word and a smile it will make a difference. Singularly none of us can accomplish this but as a community of the world we can bring great and mighty changes to the condition of the human race.

Treat each other with respect

The most important person in your life is yourself because if you do not exist then there is no you. Now everyone you come into contact with directly and indirectly are just as important as yourself. Even the least of us is a valuable part of society and the entire world. So we should treat each human being with dignity and respect even those who seek to destroy us, that in no way means we allow them to continue on their evil endeavors but we must acknowledge their being human.

We should work together to end hunger, homelessness, disease, thief, deceit, murder, and all other crimes the human race which we all are a part of. We need to find ways to keep our sons and daughters from becoming criminals instead of building larger prison facilities.

What we lack is the ability to effectively communicate with one another because we all fail to hear what the other person is expressing. Until we can understand the other persons viewpoints and needs instead of attempting to force our viewpoints and opinions on them.

Business people need to pay more attention to what their customers really desire and find ways to deliver it to them. Governments need to become servants to those who placed them there instead of being subservient to special groups. We all need to become more open to the needs and thoughts of those around us.

Live life to the fullest
