Why do some get upset when people reject their sales pitch? It is quite normal for people not seeing a value in a product or service that you think is the greatest thing since the creation of this planet. There a vast variety of reasons for the rejection. They may actually see no value it for their needs. They may not even trust your sales pitch and it truthfulness. They may just not want it so it is better to forget about the rejection instead of getting upset.
It is wise to look at it objectively and ask this simple question if I were the one receiving this proposal would I buy it. Of utmost importance when asking this question is to be completely honest with yourself. Another good idea is to ask for another marketer that you trust to give a look over to offer any suggestions or criticism of your sales copy.
One other thing that should be noted is that most people dislike being insulted or questioned on their judgment yet you will see several marketers think that this is justified since they use such tactics. People are not stupid, sheep, or other such things so try treating them as equals looking for something that is beneficial to them.
Customers are the life blood of any business so the more you treat them fairly, honestly, and as equals the more they will be willing to at least seriously contemplate the purchase of your offer. The bottom line is always the purchase of the product or services and the customers satisfaction with the transaction.
People want to be treated good and fairly in everyday life and in what they consume. Always treat each and every person as you would want to be treated. The more we can learn to communicate with each other and truly be concerned for them the better it will be for all of us.
